Anope Services are a popular, open-source suite of tools for Internet Relay Chat (IRC) networks, providing essential features like nickname registration (NickServ), channel management (ChanServ), user messaging (MemoServ), and operator utilities (OperServ), enhancing security, administration, and user experience by preventing nickname theft, managing channel access, and offering powerful network management tools for IRC operators. It’s modular, highly configurable, supports various IRCd (IRC daemons) like InspIRCd and UnrealIRCd, and is available for Linux, BSD, and Windows.
